Alex Landi is an American actor and model who got recognition for playing the role of Dr. Nico Kim, the series’ first male gay surgeon of Asian descent in the popular medical drama series Grey’s Anatomy and also as Henry Lee on Netflix’s Insatiable. His character of Dr. Nico Kim became a favorite amongst the audience in a very short span of time. Before getting fame, Alex also appeared in several short films and TV series like 264 Days, Bull, Prillen Short Shorts, Broken Land, etc. He has also been featured on the cover of the February 2019 issue for Attitude Magazine and February/March issue of the Indonesian men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine, Da Man.

Since his childhood, he was actively involved in sports and wanted to become a professional tennis player but his parents took him to his first Broadway show, The Lion King at the age of 7 that sparked the interest of acting within him. He later went onto train at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and also attended several other workshops under the guidance of Anthony Meindl and Upright Citizens Brigade. He is also a trained martial artist with extensive combat and weapon experience.
